To assess your performance and stay on track, you should step back and ask yourself certain key questions. For this stand in front of a mirror and ask below questions to "the Person in the Mirror".
Q1 : What is your life VISION?
Q2 : What are the 5 key PRIORITIES to achieve that VISION?
Q3 : Are you able to articulate your VISION and PRIORITIES to yourself as well as to others?
Q4 : How am I spending my time? Does it match my priorities?
Q5 : What types of events create pressure for me?
Q6 : How do I behave under pressure?
Q7 : Is my behavior style comfortable? Does it reflect who I truly am i.e will I "Walk the Talk"?
Successful leaders need to be aware of their own stress triggers and consciously modulate their behavior during these periods to make sure they are acting in ways that are consistent with their beliefs and core values.
When leaders fail to actively plan for succession, they do not delegate sufficiently and may become decision-making bottlenecks
